Hey reddit, it's true what they say; you never see it coming. I have 2k in the bank, my mother (has no savings) and I are losing our jobs tomorrow. Our lease isn't up until February, my mom has recently been crippled, and we both can't live without our medications that - without insurance - we can't afford (and so does our cat). Our rent is $900. Please don't crucify me. For reasons unnecessary to share, her savings are gone and mine are the meager 2k.
I've reached out to everyone we know, no one can help us. We live in Arizona. I never thought this could happen to me, I'm ready and willing to follow any/all advice anyone gives me.
