Opened up a small safety deposit box at my credit union as on offsite place to store copies of my personal documents, etc. $30/year. Found out you can make free copies, prints, use office supplies while there.

So overall it's not like it's worth the money to rent one just to get free copies/prints. But if you have a safety deposit box for other reasons, using their supplies will save you a few bucks. So make sure to not make the copies of your documents before you go, the way I did.
