I hope my idea isn't too broadly described here.My goal is to have a desk, which I can mount on the wall adjacent to my bed (which is one of the motorized position changing variety) to use for VR space simulators. The idea is to essentially have a cockpit that is fully immersive. I need it to be able to fold away parallel to the ground. I imagine it as a sort of swinging arm. I would also like the desk to have 3 panels on rails so that a larger center portion can be pushed back and the two side portions can be slid together. Imagine if you will a flight stick on the far right, and throttle on the far left, and in the center a portion holding a keyboard and mouse. When stationary (or when using other programs obviously) I can use a keyboard and mouse but when flying I can slide those elements away and bring the flight controls to the center.Since it will be a full VR desktop and the monitor will be for troubleshooting only, a monitor mount will not be required. Thanks for reading! I look forward to putting some ideas together. Please let me know if this post is incorrectly formatted, in the wrong sub, or otherwise in error.I'll go ahead and link this in the discord so anyone who might have questions or comments can PM me there. It's definitely the quicker way to reach me, but I'll be checking this post as well of course. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2Qd0BxG
