I'm building a sort of storage box for my little hatchback. I usually keep plenty of emergency supplies in the trunk and I want a way to secure them. Its going to be a simple box with a lift up hatch door.To the problem: I was thinking of some under the door lighting and I happened to have some handy blue LED strips I want to mount inside. I'm not too good with electrical stuff and not sure how to power it. The LED strips come with an AC power adapter (slot?) to plug into a wall. Unfortunately my trunk doesn't have a cigarette lighter and I really dont want to run a cable from the front. Is there any simple way to power it? Maybe with a battery? and something I can turn on/off with a switch?Edit: For some reason it didn't capitalize the "L" in the title. Im not building IED's.
