Hi, I am going to be wall mounting a 32" TV above my computer desk. I will be getting this mount, which only attaches to a single stud.I am feeling rather paranoid about having a TV hanging by only one stud. Would it be safer to span two 17.5" pieces of 2x4, or a piece of plywood, between two studs (I have 16" studs) and bolt the mount into those pieces of wood? Here is a crappy index card rendition of my thoughts.Am I just being overly cautious and the single stud should hold a TV fine? I have very little building experience, so I am rather unsure of how strong 1 stud and 3 lag bolts will be. Hence the paranoia. Thanks for any recommendations via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2oGjxbg
