What should a 40 y/o have saved?
I see a lot of these ‘how am I doing’ things…
$100k salary $230k savings $15k checking $190ish 401k (push 16% annually) Around $10k in a recent Roth. $15k crypto $15k brokerage fun account $2300 mortgage with tax and ins. Owe $240k on a $550k home. No vehicle loans. Average misc expense a month $1500ish (I put nearly everything on a Double Cash Citi card and pay off.) No car payments. Own both.
