I'm gonna be 30 this month and I feel like I should have a shit load of savings but I don't. All the money my husband and I saved, we used to pay off our truck and pay off his credit card debt (about 29k total for the truck and credit card). So that's less debt (yayy) but now we have almost zero savings. I should start putting aside some money from my paychecks but its going to mostly bills now (costs of things have went up here especially gas and groceries, live in CA), and the remaining of my credit debt, which is around 2k. I just feel sad and inefficient, we're in our 30s and don't have much savings. My husband is working OT so that helps but I feel like at our age we should have at least 10k in the bank for a rainy day.
