Preface this by saying I've always paid my bills and am never late, but I severely suck at saving and being smart with my money.
I'm currently 40 years old and sleeping in my car. I decided to start sleeping in my car to pay off debt. The cost of rent would be roughly 50-60% of my income and I just can't justify it.
2 months ago I picked up a 2nd job and then the economy crashed and I'm now on furlough from my first job. This whole thing has been kind of a "blessing" in disguise. I have been able to pick up full time + OT hours at my 2nd job and my first job will be paying me 80hrs. Plus the stimulus.
Current debt is 7k in credit cards and 3k in car loan. I could potentially use 5k from my retirement fund to help pay off debt under the new CARE 401k guidelines. If I decided not to touch my 401k I'm looking at a little under 4k after taxes at just the end of this month. Advice on the best way to tackle this?
