Any frugal bacon buyers out there? I normally shop ads and buy meat/produce that's on sale for a good deal. I've looked through ads enough for my usual meats and produce so I know whether it can get cheaper or if it's not a good sale deal. I am willing to go to different stores for the best price, I live relatively close to most major grocery stores.
I don't normally buy bacon so I'm pretty unfamiliar what's a good price (I'm located in Bay area California).
What's a good price for bacon per lb? What do you think of $3.99/lb??
