Hi all. If you're like me, then you have your accounts linked to Mint and use it to collect your transaction history. But if you're really like me, then that isn't enough to quench your thirst for data analysis.

As a part of my 2019 resolution, I've been working on a big rework of my personal spreadsheet, and one of my goals was to have more specific spending data by way of importing from Mint. I've separated out that part of my spreadsheet to share with all of you and maybe you'll find it useful as well.

Here's the spreadsheet!

(Note: the link above will prompt you to make a copy of the sheet in your Google Drive)

You can manage categories for transactions, add your own custom categories, and mark certain types of transactions as non-spending, fixed, variable, etc.. Additionally, there is a macro to help make the import process easier, but if you're uncomfortable using a macro from an internet spreadsheet I describe what it does so you can complete the process manually.

Feel free to play around with it and tell me what you think. I've filled the sheet with a bunch of sample data so you can see what it looks like filled up (not my real spending data). With the help of this spreadsheet I now have significantly more detailed spending data at my fingertips than I previously did.
