There are many places I always search for discounts or coupon before I do every shopping online of course for saving my pocket. Most of you guys must heard these before, like Slickdeals, Honey, Ebates and so on. For Slickdeals, I usually spend a lot of time for searching, quite time wasting. But most important thing is slickdeals has been dominated by CHINESE seller! Many of deals are come from them, I don't want to comment to the quality but they flooding the whole website quite let me want to refuse it.
The best alternative is chrome extension like Honey and Ebates. Both of them offer 1 to 6% cash back in different stores. I usually shopping in Amazon and Walmart but seldom on other website or store, so you need to discover others by your own. But the refund ratio are various by category.
Honey - The important thing is honey cash back doesn't work on Amazon, but Walmart. Beside the cash back, it can help to track the product price and notice you if hit your target price, but need to signup. There are a lot of other extension to watch the pricing changing on Amazon, which means honey is quite useless if you shopping on Amazon, cuz you can not find any coupon about amazon with honey, forget about this. Walmart is work well with honey regarding to cashback, and the "gold" honey cash back you change redeem gift card of many store instead of the real cash back. But it seems fair.
Ebate - another extension. Could functional both on Amazon and Walmart, but it can not track the price, you just purchase as normally and it will cash back to you within a week, and this one is reward the really cash to you through Paypal.
I found a newly launched extension call Coupot, it doesn't have any cash back but It really show many discounted coupon even related product let me to clearly compared which is best deal. But it seems it only support Amazon and have pity amount of user right now. But indeed help to save my pocket, I will use Coupot and Ebate together so that best discount with real cash back, quite a big tip.
PS: Don't wish to use Honey and Ebates together to get both cash back, since you will be noticed and disable another if you use both together, so let it go~
