guy, i am college student and my friend told me that whether we can share a accomodation and this way it would be cheaper.
i agreed to this
then , while telling this matter to another friend, he also stated that he would be interested in joining us if the room rent he pays is around $600 per month.
now , i also want a room lower than $700 as well. but the first friend is keep on increasing the rent limit while searching for rooms and he says a budget of $850 - 900. now u may that $150 is not a big amount but when u look for 12 months , the amount that u can save is almost $1800 .
let me tell you my current situation - i am staying in a room where the actual room rent is $2000 per month . but i got lucky or something , the old tenet was going back to her country and had to transfer her lease . she gave me this room for $840 per month and $140 restraunt coupon. this room is only for 2 months though.
i said to my friend that currently i am paying around 840 , so i wont be having any motivation to move to a place $800 per month for a shared accomodation . he says that i cant get this room for 840 after 2 months and so i would be in a benefical position if we do things as he says.
see , y pay more and stay in a shared accomodation, where u can stay alone and pay less.??
however, i have seen rooms /private rooms for $700 aswell.
am i being irrational or i am thinking correctly.
