The cooking range gas and oven that came with my current house is not the best. The gas is charred in some places and the grills are loaded with years of grease and food debris and the oven looks shady and it’s door is falling apart..

In the past 2 months I started living here, I cleaned the gas to my best ability and haven’t even tried starting the oven. May be in next 2 year or so I might change the cooking range when I have enough money to spare but right now I’m looking for an alternative for baking.

I have a really small ~1.6qt Bella air fryer that I got for dirt cheap and I like it very much and now I want to upgrade for a bigger model.

I don’t own any toaster or grill or any appliance of that sort, and I mostly bake bread and cookies and chicken.

I am thinking of buying an air-fryer with baking and broiling option. After looking online and reading reviews I am thinking to go with Breville Programmable Smart Convection Oven + Air Frying & Dehydrating.

Breville Programmable Smart Convection Oven + Air Frying & Dehydrating

With Black Friday deal it cost around ~$300.

Will this be a smarter, more frugal way to hold off until I buy a better oven ?

What do you guys think?

TLDR: Will spending ~$300 on an air fryer oven be frugal until I can buy a better cooking range or is it just stupid?
