Just bought a 2016 Camry Hybrid, never gone through the car buying process before so I didn't expect all the warranties and stuff to be thrown at me by the financing manager. The car came with 3/36k bumper to bumper, 7/100k powertrain, 8/100k hybrid battery replacement, so I didn't think I needed to buy more, but the FM really pushed an extended warranty on the electrical components of the car. It'd be about $2500 for an 8/100k warranty on those parts. Is that worth it, or should I just take the chance?
e: I am aware the financing department are sales staff as well, but the hybrid system gives me pause and makes me wonder if I should get a warranty that I otherwise wouldn't bother with.
