I just received an email from ATT saying that my plan had been changed because it was being discontinued as of "3/19/19" , and that it increased the price of my plan (15 GB Mobile Share Value) by $10 a month while doubling the data.
The person I spoke to said all mobile share value customers received a "double data + $10 a month" plan change effective on the current billing cycle, plus any prorated amount. It also showed that I would be billed 2 months in one on my next bill because of the plan change. So double check your bill and plan.
If this happened to you, I had success with the customer loyalty department with them putting me back on my current plan, the regular billing department said she did not have the option available to switch it back.
