I have gout and chicken is the only meat product I can eat without losing the ability to walk. I figure buying raw chicken and cooking from home would be cheaper than what I am currently doing of ordering takeout regularly, but I do not know where to begin. I can cook at a beginner's level, but I can learn. It's also just for one person so I'm worried that if I buy a whole chicken (or even half) it may expire before I get to cook it all.
Any advice?
Edit: Thanks for the tips everyone! I guess the first thing for me to do is to get an oven (small one) for the chicken. I only have a pan and an induction cooker so I guess that makes it limited. Thank you very much!
