So me and my family had a financial crisis due to my son's ever mounting medical bills. We moved in with family and we're in a better place now and looking to restart our life and move out.
We have $1200 budgeted for rent (1/4 of our income) and want to get the most for our money
An apartment would cost anywhere from 1100 to 1600 in our area. Most are 2 bedroom, some are 3. Several Mobile homes are for sale with seller financing. The total comes out to $900-$1000 with space rental.
Now, the stigma of a mobile home aside, what are the downsides? A conventional home isn't an option due to housing prices and the amount needed for a down payment.
