I've been trying to eliminate my need to carry around cash and prefer to use debit and/or credit cards for the convenience and rewards points (I'll still carry a $5 or $20 bill in my wallet just in case). The only place that I still feel a need to use cash is when paying for gas at gas stations due to the fees that they charge for using your card. My Chase Freedom Credit Card will sometimes give 5% cash back on gas stations during certain quarterly rotations, which in that case it's worth it. But excluding those quarterly rotations, the highest cash back rate I have on my cards is 1.5%.
Any recommendations?
