Using a throw away. Not sure what to do. We were in a great spot 150k combined income, but I really wanted to branch out and work for myself (and my wife wanted to stay home with the baby). I’m a recruiter with a ton of experience. I can normally pull in 500k-1 mil a year for the companies I’ve worked for, but it’s been a month and I’ve made $0. Tons of things falling through and I’m starting to get short with my wife and my candidates. Just nothing is going well and the stress is piling up.
We have 4-5 months left in our nest egg and I’m not sure how to stop this tailspin.
Feeling like a failure. Feeing like I’m letting my wife and baby down. Feeling like I made a terrible mistake and I don’t know what to do.
