I’ve notice at restaurants where you order and they just hand you your meal, they are asking for tips more and more frequently; via tip jar or it’s on the screen when you sign your name for card approval.
Am I wrong, I always thought tipping was for wait staff that provided a service over a meal. Are we expected to tip the cooks and the cashieres, because that’s pretty much the staff that places like these have?
