Given the recent post objecting to the frequent "haul" posts, I wanted to offer up two proposals to the r/frugal community, and hear any alternatives or tweaks you'd all like to recommend.
Some have called for all such posts to be limited to a weekly post - a "Thrifty Thursday, Friday Buyday, What It's Worth Wednesday" sort of thing.
Alternately, a rule change allowing for such posts, on condition that they include context for that particular situation - location, the nature of the sale, whether it was a one time/strictly local deal, etc.
From past discussions on the matter, I've seen the community as pretty evenly split on the matter. I would like to ask you directly. Please share your thoughts, and if you have any alternate proposals, I would like to hear them.
