(Don't have any other place to post this, but I wanted to see if others have experienced this)
Hubby and I take a look at our checking account every day and overnight noticed two charges posted to our account from Redbox. We've never used Redbox....on this account or otherwise. Ever. Both of us have our cards in our wallets and are thoroughly confused.
We called Redbox customer service who gave us the run-around and after insisting that those transactions never took place (there was a transaction number attached to the charges), we were told that it MUST have been a different card used, despite the fact our checking account clearly tells us exactly which card was used. This conversation was going nowhere, so my husband asked to speak to a supervisor...at which point we're put on hold for ten minutes and then hung up on. Wtf.
So right now we're calling the bank, hoping that'll get us somewhere. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I've never had a fraudulent charge to my account, let alone over two petty $3.15 charges lol
