I'll spare you the long, sad story of my life, but I am of legal age and currently live with abusive parents who I'm trying to run away from.
I don't have a bank account and, long story short, I can't let my parents know that I'm opening one. Apparently I can easily sign up for a Capital 360 account online.
But here's the problem. If I enter my current address (my parents' house), I'll receive a card in the mail which will obviously ruin everything. So I have a friend in another state who is willing to let me use her address when I sign up. (I also plan to live with my friend when I leave my parents.)
So I have a few questions. Will that even work? Is it legal? I'm assuming I'll have to provide proof of identity in the sign up process. What will happen when the address on my license doesn't match up with the address I entered to sign up?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
EDIT: Thank you for all the advice and support everyone, but I really need to know the answer to the questions above. If anyone has experience with Capital 360, please let me know.
