I have saved up £1000 to invest into something but I am blown away by everything.
I have read so much yet learnt so little and do not know where to start or what to do.

I want to but some money in a long time solution, and then also some money towards stocks.
Don't have a clue about stocks or where to start, is it pick a company and hope for the best.
Not really focused on making big risky bets, but I would like a steady profit so I can put it towards my business after university.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
