I'm 21 and in about 2 years I will have a Bachelor's degree in English. I'm British-Swedish, grew up in England, but moved to Sweden to study where it's free. My grandparents are quite well off so they're paying my accommodation while I'm studying. But once I've finished studying, I'm on my own. So I really need to figure out what to do next. But essentially my dream is to own a property in Stockholm and build my life there, have a family etc.

I have hardly any savings (about 4000 pounds/5000 usd). I also have a student debt of about 8000 pounds/10000 usd from when I studied in England for a year (where it isn't free).

I'm currently unsure about what kind of career I want. I might even study a few more semesters to get a teacher's qualification. But I feel tempted to just go and work someplace like a supermarket in Stockholm just so I have work experience. I've never really had a proper job where I've been financially independent. I'm kind of itching to get started with a 9-5 job.

I'm also thinking about my inheritance - my parents are quite poor so I'm getting nothing from them, but my mum will inherit a large house from my grandparents. Hopefully my mum and my grandparents will live for long time, which would mean I wouldn't inherit this until I'm about 60. However, I'm thinking about whether my uncle (who has money) would be interested in buying the property already from my grandparents, who would then give me and my siblings the money. This would give me about 70,000-100,000 pounds/ 90,000-130,000 usd) which I could put down for a deposit for a mortgage. However, this is all very speculative/possibly unlikely so it's probably just best if I work for a deposit.
