I work in Devops. I work remotely which is awesome and I consider it to be part of my compensation. I can technically move anywhere I want at any time and still have a job. I can also decide to get groceries or play with my cat if I wanted to.
I should mention I hate the city and I hate commuting. It would be probably 40-60min commute by bus.
The company does offer commuter benefits and seems like a cool place to work, but is it worth the money? I have 37k in student loans, no other debt.
