Good morning,
I am a single father of one son, he's 2 years old. After going through some rough times career-wise and raising him on my own, I'm about 20k in the hole, CCs, student loan, medical bills.
I'm not sure what I can do. I can't even make payments on everything I owe. With rent and daycare, I come out with less than $100 left each month after all of my bills.
His mother left shortly after he was born, everyone thinks it was a postpartum depression thing. I haven't heard from her since she left. My relatives don't make enough to help, even if I had the balls to ask.
I thought maybe I could consolidate my debt but I'm not sure where to begin and what companies are credible if any. I'm sure my credit score is in the shitter by now.
Am I looking at Bankruptcy as my only option?
