Recent changes in the law? Graduate studies debt? I'm just wondering why there's a massive disconnect between the most common student loan complaints and the reality I'm looking at with my child entering college. The most debt she can take on over four years is maybe $16k.
edit: Thanks all. Frustrating part of this is she's actually getting a grant that covers all of her tuition - it's just the room and board that's costly.
