I'm sure you guys get a lot of questions on the topic of budgeting apps. I've read some of the Wiki and older posts and read some good things about Mint and YNAB. But those apps are a little much for what I'm looking for.
Does anyone have suggestions for a basic, bare needs app? I don't need a login, I don't need to link up my debit cards. All the app needs is divided sections where I can input how much I spend on utilities, groceries, eating out, clothes shopping, vacations, etc.
I want to allow myself a limit to how much I spend (say, I only get $200 a month to eat out) and after I get the bill, easily open my app to add the amount to said section. No mess, no fuss. I'm not organized enough to input everything on an Excel sheet, and since I always have my phone, an app is no excuse to not start budgeting.
Thank you!
