Hello everyone, I recently graduated in May and after all the job searching I finally landed a job having to do with my degree. The company is great, and they are asking me to relocate to their headquarters. I got a job offer from them today the average salary for the position is $44,000 and they are offering $38,000. They said they would help me with relocation, meaning they would provide temporary housing, and help with finding a new place. After receiving the initial offer I definitely want to ask for more. But my question is, am I in a position to ask for more? I have no professional office experience, but I have plenty of experience in the position they are offering me. Any tips, and criticism would help!
