I have been given contact information for an employer that I would really like to work for. The only thing: I'm not technically qualified until I complete my current training, which will be in a two-three weeks max. I want to express my interest but don't want to sound like a dope when I say "Yeah, but I don't have my commercial license just yet..."
Another thing: I was given his personal phone number and email. Not sure if I should call or email?? I feel like calling would be better because it shows more interest, while an email will just be a paragraph and I won't feel comfortable including a resume yet since I'm not technically qualified.
Any advice on this situation would be greatly appreciated. Just not sure how to go about this and have it work in my benefit.
