I bank with Chase, and I just recently received an email about Chase Credit Journey. It's a free, check-as-often-as-you-want credit service using TransUnion's VantageScore 3.0 along the likes of Credit Karma or similar.
The email listed the following services:

Your score refreshes weekly when you log-in. Check as often as you'd like with no impact on your credit!

Learn how actions like paying off debt or opening new accounts might impact your score.

Get email alerts about critical changes to your credit report, helping you identify potential fraud.
It has an extensive FAQ and Credit Education section as well as a credit what-if simulator. I don't think you need to have a Chase account to enrol in the service.
