I've been wanting to move out of my father's house for a couple months now. I have an opportunity to move into a friend's house for $100-200 a month in LA. As it stands I have about $1.5k in saving, but only have a part time job right now. It pays really nice($25/h), but I only get about 6-9 hours a week right now. I may get more hours in the near future. I have an old car that will probably last me a couple years, but it's an old Prius so it gets great milage. I'd like to move out in the next month or so. I can't stay with my dad for much longer. What would you do in this situation? How would I be able to move up the pay bracket?
