Until now I've always just set my reoccurring payments on autopay and set my paychecks from work up for direct deposit. Recently I've been sticking to a budget and watching my finances more closely. I'm starting to not like automatic payments as much as I used to now that I'm paying a little more attention. I like knowing exactly when I pay a bill and tracking it accordingly. Not only that, I kind of like forcing myself to look at the bill every time I pay it. Has anyone else made the switch away from automatic payments? Do you have any pros/cons?
