My fiancée and I have lived together for a year, thinking of making a joint budget.
Any tips on how to avoid this feeling like a prison, or score keeping, etc... I'm conscious this will result in fights and feeling like we have to explain every purchase.
Any tips of splitting the budget? This probably sounds crazy but as I earn a fair bit more, I pay for every household bill from food to mortgage, then she just puts in whatever she can that month. I'm thinking maybe we both pay the same % of our income into it?
One of us gets paid weekly, one monthly too. Thanks in advance!
