Total newbie, I've been pulling down fifty year old wallpaper to paint a room in my house and have discovered quite a rough looking seam between the drywall back of a cupboard and the plastered over brick of the rest of the wall.https://ift.tt/3dTKSzk of the cupboard on left, brick and plaster on right, apologies for the darkness of the pictures phone camera is iffy)Is this a substantial amount of damage or just normal shifting/slapdash job that was immediately papered over? Should I sand down and put mud/tape over the seam before painting? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/39N6V7B
