I have a little 5 inch deep "alcove" framed into my basement with metal studs and wanted to mount a TV in it but need to use a big heavy mount that warns against installing on drywall or metal studs.Anyways, my current thought was to build a little frame from wood 2x4s and "sister" them to the metal studs through the drywall using metal stud anchors on the sides and back then just installing the mount to the wooden frame.Is there a better way to do this? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2jHc8Ws
