Firstly I'll start by saying this is my first attempt at building anything 'DIY related'. I'm looking to build a temporary 'Thai Bucket Bar' (http://ift.tt/2zL1WmL).This bar is only for use during one party, and will be thrown away after this so doesn't need to be great!I've sketched a mock of what I want the bar to look like. At present I have 3 x Pallets (in diagram below), and one that is damaged.http://ift.tt/2icphqj have a few questions that I'm really hoping you can help with; 1. What is the best way to attach the 2 x pallets (A+B) together? What wood can I use for the bar top, and how do I attach this. I want the bar top to be wider than the tops of the pallets (15cm wide). Can I pick this up at a DIY/homestore place? What is the best way to treat the wood, would a bit of varnish do the job (after sanding). Is there any simple improvements I can do to the design to make it better! Many Thanks in advance.
