So my wife just refinished our bedroom floors in our new house, and after adding the water based polyurethane it looks like urine stains showed up again.We sanded from my understanding she did 34, 40, 60, 80, 100. With lots of dust cleanup. Then we stained and the what we assume to be heart wood pine floors turned out medium brown stain red. Then about 8 ish hours later we added a water based polyurethane. After about another 8 hours we checked the floors and the urine spots seem to have returned. I tried to Google this scenario and couldn't find anything. We would love to fix the stain but don't want to redo the whole floors...
