I am currently tearing out the 1980's wood paneling in my basement and will be installing drywall in a few weeks. Whoever installed the paneling put the vapor barrier up and has R-11 insulation already installed between the studs. This will be my first time doing drywall, but I am getting help from a family member who helps put up drywall in habitat for humanity houses. Do any of you have tips for putting up drywall?
