My house is approximately 30 years old when it was built rugs were the thing. Through many Renovations with the help of my dad we were able to put hardwood flooring through most of the house. Unfortunately my father passed two years ago leaving me one room that remains unfinished we tore up the rug and lo and behold beneath it like much of the other flooring in the house is particle board subfloor. My question is can I use a roll of fortifiber on top of the particle board and just put a peel and stick laminate floor on top of it? Or am I better off removing all the particle board from that room and just putting new plywood down on top of it before using the peel and stick laminate? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2FT1u9d
