  1. Start with rough coffee grounds. I use the burr grinder at the grocery store set to the coarsest setting
  2. Soak the grounds at room temp for 24 hrs in a big bowl using a ratio of 1.5 cup grounds per 8 cups water. Cover with plastic wrap or a kitchen towel to make sure no particles get in. Stir a few times as it's soaking if you remember
  3. Strain through a cheesecloth or nut milk bag
  4. Strain again in a Chemex (or regular coffee pot filters) to get the finer particles out
  5. Keep in the fridge forever(ish)

No need for those expensive plastic cold brew makers when you probably have all the tools in your kitchen already! Now you'll have delicious cold press ready each morning an no more getting fooled by those coffee shops that advertise cold press but it's really just bitter leftover iced coffee for $4.50
