So the remote for the central locking system on my '03 Skoda Octavia has slowly been getting worse (the secondary key remote never worked). Recently it stopped working completely. Initially I just thought it would be the battery, so opened the spare one and found out which type i needed, and ordered some like it from Amazon. They came today, and I put in the fresh ones, but neither remote worked. So now I'm stuck. I can only assume it might be the receiver, but that does not seem so straight forward.
