I wish I were more handy.. I took it upon myself to install a new fixed track LED light fixture to the ceiling of my condominium.I removed the old fixture, which was also a fixed track (older style model) and proceeded to install the new fixture:Turned off powerRemoved old fixtureKept the old bracket (I think that's what its called) of the old fixture, it looked practically identical to the new one. It's that metal piece bolted to the ceiling where wires protrude from, and where the ground wire is connected to a screw/bolt.I wired everything up, tried my best to shove all the wires in the empty space (I think there's an name for this lol, the hole in the drywall)Screwed the new fixture to seal the deal.THE PROBLEMI am not sure if its the weight - but there is a slight gap between the ceiling and the new fixture. It's as if its hanging down, pushing the bracket ends down and causing a gap.I was thinking I could add more screws to the bracket to secure it more - but its all empty space up there, nothing to screw it into.I wish I had more photos, but I hope these suffice:This is the product I purchased: http://ift.tt/2rW2Onl is how it looks right now: http://ift.tt/2sTAqzp: http://ift.tt/2rW8eid seriously appreciate everybody who contributes to helping me out. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2sTTwpl
