(Kinda long!) So I’m a 25 year old black man (idk why I added that) and just had my first child (it’s a girl!) about 2 weeks ago and ever since I’ve just been up late nights, early mornings contemplating on if I’m doing the right things in life. Like I need her to live comfortably because I know what it’s like to struggle, it really sucks man. I also have no car at the moment but with or without the loan that’ll be changing in the next month or 2! I work at Walmart but +$2k a month just simply isn’t enough for the stuff that they have us doing so I’ve been thinkin of ways to escape that “normal” way of living check to check. I plan on goin back to school for carpentry in February while also attempting to get my CDLs and opening up a reselling business. CDLs might be my first priority since it seems like the quickest one to access while doing something I truly love, which is traveling! Ok fast forward through all of this, my credit score is a 692 and I’m honestly looking for a personal loan that can give me about $8-$10k that doesn’t have a super high interest rate while also making the payments pretty fair. Ppl of Reddit, can you lend a brotha some advice? I live in the south if that’ll narrow down some options!
