I searched this sub and didn't see any similar posts less than a year old, so I hope this post is permitted.
I'm still dragging the last bits of life out of my iPhone 6. It works perfectly fine for my needs, except that several of the apps I use daily are no longer working, because they say I need iOS 13 or newer, and my phone is too old to download or run that. They're forcing my hand to upgrade. I rarely buy a new phone (this one is almost six years old), so I want to get something refurbished that is as recent as possible, so it will last as long as possible. I'd prefer to spend somewhere in the neighborhood of $200, give or take a few bucks. We use Mint Mobile, so I need to be able to unlock it if it doesn't come unlocked. I'm not sure how unlocking works when you buy a pre-owned phone??
Is this an unrealistic hope/expectation? If so, how much money do I need to be willing to fork over, approximately? What are some reputable websites where I might find a good deal?
