I’m trying to get into real estate while learning all of the ins and outs. Lately I’ve been really focused on house construction though. This is a topic not too many people can go in depth with and I understand that because their are a lot of variables but I can’t find complete transparency on the prices of someone buying a slab of land and building a house onto it. Can an experienced contractor or an experienced relator help me with this problem, and determine the cost. Say I live in North Mississippi I have two choices A. A 5,2227.2 sqft piece of land for $1,800 52x100 (the opposite side of the 52 decreases to 51 ft) and build a big house or duplex- quadplex on top (counting the removal of trees and leveling of course). Or B. A $40,000 3 bed, 2 bath 1,424 sqft house that may be a fixer upper. Which would be a smarter investment and what would A really cost? 🤔 (Sorry if this question is really pushy, I did a lil research on Zillow and wanted to find two close places and really wanna figure these out being so new to all of this)
