I have been using three step bet and fitness bet apps for the last four months. I started as motivation to work out more regularly and to earn a few cents because my basic bank account does not pay interest.
I have spent €140 on new cross-trainers and workout clothes, but I have "won" over €150 over the four months.
I would not recommend this for someone who isn't working out anyway. I don't think the money is motivation for anyone who isn't motivated. But if you are doing running, walking, pushups, core work, gratitude, decluttering, hydrating, calorie-counting, veggie-eating, yoga, or pretty much anything else fitness/nutrition/mindfulness, these apps do pay off enough to cover expenses.
