I'm in Georgia where the electric is extremely high.
I've considered this- will us closing the doors to rooms with no central air (bathroom and closets) cool the apartment faster and thus make the electric bill a bit more affordable? I've never thought of this until now. I keep my AC at 85 during the day when we aren't here and 80 when we are. At night, I run the AC at 80 and a fan at the same time.
Edit: My boyfriend thinks the vent in our bathroom is for the AC as well but it doesn't work. Will the AC continue to run if it defects the bathrooms temperature?
