I live in Europe and do about 20000miles per year. I have to buy a car by september and I need a reasoning check.
I'm 26M, my gross salary 50k euro per year. I'd like to FIRE at 50 years old so it's financially not responsable to waste lots of money into a depreciating car.
Problem is I appreciate cars and technologies such as adaptative LED, adaptative cruise control for a better comfort. This represents a cost and leads car price to 16000€+
What's your thought on the car budget if you were me ? For now, I think 12,500€ is about great which is 25% of my gross salary per year.
Edit : forgot to mention, no debt, 50k euro net worth at the moment
